CMMG’s MkW ANVIL T brings 16.1 in of 416SS performance in a .458 SOCOM AR-15 style platform, engineered with the MkW lower that accepts standard AR15 magazines. Built on mid-sized MUTANT (Mk3-based) billet 7075-T6 aluminum receivers and tuned with a carbine-length SLR adjustable gas block, this rifle pairs a medium-taper SBN barrel with a threaded 5/8-32 muzzle for easy compatibility with muzzle devices and accessories.

The CMMG Anvil is a...
The CMMG Anvil is a fantastic firearm. It is extremely over built and I believe it won't have a problem standing up to years of abuse. Even with the billet receivers and medium contour barrel, it is surprisingly light. Everything functioned perfectly right out of the box. The stock furniture on the base model leaves something to be desired, however this is easily swapped out and not really an issue. I would highly recommend the Anvil to anyone looking for a little more thump out of an AR platform.
