The CMMG MkW ANVIL XBE is a semi-automatic .458 SOCOM rifle built on CMMG’s mid-size MUTANT platform. Its billet 7075-T6 aluminum receivers and POWERBOLT design are engineered to handle the substantial ballistic energy of the .458 SOCOM cartridge while retaining compatibility with standard AR15 magazines. The rifle features a 16.1-inch 416 stainless steel salt bath nitride barrel with a 1:14 twist, a carbine-length gas system, and an SLR adjustable gas block for tuning reliability to different loads. Magpul furniture, a CMMG RKM15 handguard, and a CMMG SV muzzle brake complete the practical configuration. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x32 for compatible accessories.
