The CMMG MkW ANVIL XFT is a semi-automatic 6.5 Grendel rifle built on CMMG’s mid-size ANVIL platform. Its billet 7075-T6 aluminum receivers and PowerBOLT design are engineered to manage the cartridge’s large case diameter and substantial bolt thrust. The rifle uses a 16.1-inch 416 stainless steel medium-taper barrel with a 1:8 twist, a rifle-length gas system, and a CMMG SV muzzle brake. A CMMG RKM15 handguard, Magpul MOE pistol grip, and six-position Magpul CTR stock provide a practical, adjustable configuration for hunting and extended-range shooting. The rifle weighs 8.4 pounds unloaded and includes one 10-round magazine.
