A: They are actually very close function wise Michael. One would not notice a difference if blindfolded. Colts generally are higher priced in cost but not in function compared to the Bushmaster and other AR's. (My opinion).

A: Jason, mostly the M4 Cut Barrel with 1:7" RH twist on the M4 and the "Heavy Barrel with 1in9 twist rate on this model.

A: M4 uses a different cut for the feed ramps this A3 has a heavy barrel 1:9 twist

A: Doesn't have the light M-4 barrel, the twist is 1:9 and it has no 3 shot burst capability. It will be at it's best with 55 grain bullets with the 1:9 twist.
