If you want to buy one...
If you want to buy one of the BEST Competition 5.56 Rifles that Colt puts out this is your Rifle. The front has a muzzle brake that is also a combined flash suppressor. The Match barrel is one of the Best on the market. I've shot the Rifle in a 3 gun competition as well as my local 300 yard range, and this gun can not only do beautifully in a close up 3 gun competition. But at 300 yards, using just every day PMC 52 grain bullets the cluster was within a 1/2 inchs. You want a gun for close up or long range. This is the Gun !!!

I own several Colt...
I own several Colt 6920 and they are great mil spec rifles.If you plan to keep a rifle mil specs,the 6920 is for you.But,I have always had to change the trigger,stocks and some other parts to make them great shooters. If you want an AR that shoots accurately out of the box with no need for upgrades,the Colt CRE 16T is the AR for you.At $1350 it is $350 more than the Colt 6920,but worth every penny,and then some! To upgrade the 6920 like the CRE,it would cost you at least $800.I build AR rifles and I couldn't come close to the CRE for $1350 It comes with a 16" stainless 1/8 twist .223 wylde bull barrel,Chip Mcormik trigger,floating handguard,Houge overmoulded stock,oversized trigger guard and grip and an oversized charging handle.And that's just to name a few.This rifle was built in Texas,and they did a much better job than they do in Hartford,CT. All I did was put a Vortex Eaglestrike on it,lasor sight it,and I was doing 5/8" groups at 100 yrds with 55 grain Federals right after sighting it.I am going to take it out again with Hornady match 65 grain 5.56 when I get a chance.Or some of my reloads. This rifle is a winner out the box.Wont be changing anything.
