The Colt Competition Pro CRP18CA is a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle built around a .223 Wylde chamber, allowing it to safely accept both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition. Its 18-inch match-grade stainless steel barrel features custom fluting, six-groove button rifling, and a 1:8 right-hand twist for consistent accuracy across a broad range of bullet weights. A rifle-length gas system and fully adjustable low-profile gas block support precise cycling adjustment. The rifle includes a Geissele Super 3 Gun trigger with an approximately 3.5-pound pull, a SureFire MB556K muzzle brake and suppressor adapter, and a 15-inch Colt free-floating handguard. Forged receivers, a flat-top Picatinny rail, an extended tactical charging-handle latch, and a Magpul CTR six-position adjustable stock complete the configuration.
