The Colt CRX-16 Gen2 CRX Marksman is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington. Its 16-inch heavy-contour 4150 chrome-moly steel barrel uses a 1:8-inch right-hand twist and features a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle with a triple-chamber muzzle brake. The direct-impingement system pairs with a fixed low-profile gas block and a free-floating 12-inch M-LOK handguard with a full-length Picatinny top rail. A Hogue six-position adjustable stock and textured beavertail grip support a stable, comfortable shooting position, while the Colt Target single-stage trigger provides a consistent 6-pound break. One 30-round Magpul PMAG is included.

A superb Colt. Well...
A superb Colt. Well built and sturdy. Great looking weapon and finish. The Ergonomics are excellent for this platform. The MLOK Rail is a bit hard to get used to at first but it is very modern looking and comfortable. Its easy to use once you get the hang of it. This weapon has such good bones and is a great buy for the price. This leaves you more room for dressing the weapon up : ). You dont have to change a thing on it. Just add and build the rifle how you want to. I have fully dressed mine and it is again just an amazing platform to build on. Customization friendly id say. Shoots well. Was shooting 100 yds outdoors and about every round hit the head and neck and upper abdomen of the zombie paper target. Very easy to hold on target as the ergonomics feel great and the muzzle break further improve the felt recoil and muzzle rise. Not that 5.56 is alot to begin with but the point is there. All in all it is an excellent carbine and very well worth the price "exceedingly". Easily matches ARs double the price. Especially fully dressed this gun looks great next to my friends LWRC. Im am not exaggerating this Colt is that nice. Buds has fast and excellent shipping methods. Very efficient and smooth buying process. Very safe and easy. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a modern AR15 carbine from a reputable online gunshop.

Awesome gun! Full...
Awesome gun! Full disclosure: this is my first AR; although I've shot other's ARs. That said, this gun is very well built, and shoots great. I fired about 150 rounds through the rifle the first couple days, and didn't have a single issue. That included factory ammo and some reloads my father did. I'm no marksman, and I didn't test the MOA claims that Colt Competition is known for, but it definitely put the rounds where I was aiming at. And even though Colt Competition recently closed their doors, I'd still recommend this gun to anyone looking for an AR. I look forward to enjoying this gun for plenty of years, and am sure you would too.

Besides the fact that...
Besides the fact that this rifle is a colt.... everything they state is 100% accurate! It is easy to shoot a 1in Moa @ 100 yards. Well built rifle with all the upgrade furniture you can beat the price! With the right ammo and slightly skilled shooting a .5in moa @ 100 yards will come consistint!
