The Colt Expanse M4 CE2000MPS-B is a semi-automatic AR-15-pattern rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and capable of accepting .223 Remington ammunition. Its 16.1-inch 4150 CMV barrel uses a 1:7-inch right-hand twist and a carbine-length gas system for dependable operation. The forged flat-top upper receiver includes a forward assist and dust cover, while the Magpul SL handguard, collapsible stock, and pistol grip provide a practical, adaptable configuration. A fixed A2 front sight base is included, and the receiver provides a standard platform for adding a rear sight or optic.

I received my Colt...
I received my Colt Expanse CE2000 MPS-B last week. This is my first AR and I was not ready, or able, to break the bank and drop $1000 on one with more bells and whistles. This is a solid entry level AR plarform with the addition of some nice Magpul hardware all for around $700. Fit and finish look good and everything cycles perfectly. It does not have a chrome lined barrel so that is the only downside, however, for my purposes that is not an issue. Like I said, it is a fantastic entry level AR. Buds turnaround time was fast and they kept me in the loop on every part of the purchase and shipping process. Would definitely buy this gun from Buds again, no regrets!
