The Colt SP6940 Sporter is a semi-automatic rifle built around a one-piece monolithic upper receiver modeled after the Colt M4 carbine. Its continuous Mil-Spec M1913 rail extends from the rear of the receiver to the folding front sight, providing a stable mounting surface for optics and accessories. The 16.1-inch chrome-lined, full-float barrel uses a 1-7 right-hand twist with six grooves and a direct-gas operating system. A four-position collapsible stock allows the rifle to be configured for transport, storage, and varied shooting positions.
