Product Overview
The CORE15 M4 Scout is an entry-level AR-15-pattern rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and built around a direct gas impingement operating system. Its 16-inch 4140 chrome moly barrel uses a 1:7 twist and is fitted with an A2 flash hider. The rifle features forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers with Type III Class II hard-coat anodized finishes, M4 feed ramps, and a flat-top 1913 Picatinny rail for mounting an optic. A six-position collapsible synthetic stock, thermoset-molded polymer handguards, A2 pistol grip, and CORE15 Hardcore billet charging handle complete the practical M4-style configuration.

Very nice Ar-15. Right out of the box It needs a cleaning before firing. There was still manufactured metal flakes in the barrel. After cleaning I put in a P-mag 30 round and test charged the rifle in my garage, the first couple times I charge the rifle with mag inserted and bolt locked to rear and released the bolt, and mag inserted bolt forward then charged it the round didn't fully seat. I cleaned again and had the same similar problem with just cycling rounds through it without firing. So I said what the hell maybe needs to be fired, I took to the range first round didn't seat but hit forward assist and fired perfect. I shot 400 rounds first day with no malfunctions and shot straight as an arrow out to 100 meters with pmc bronze 55 grain 223. This gun just needed to be fired 100 plus rounds or so to get rid of that first round not chambering fully. Very worth the price and fires awesome, very solid rifle no rattling either when you shake it.
