Very accurate rifle....
Very accurate rifle. Consistent 3/4 inch groups at 100 yards with Hornady 17 grain VMAX. Around 1 inch with the 20 grain hp. Nothing beats the hmr for pest control on small animals out to about 150.

An excellent little...
An excellent little rifle from CZ. Topped with a Leupold Rimfire scope this rifle made a .291" group at 50 yards. Shooting empty .45 ACP cases from the bench is no big deal. Wow. Trigger is excellent right out of the box. Mine preferred CCI ammo the best although Federal was not far behind. Watch out ground squirrels!

There has been some...
There has been some confusion whether the barrel and action of this rifle are true stainless steel or not due to the poor quality of photos of this gun on various sites. The rifle I received had barrel, action, trigger and trigger guard metal all made of stainless steel without any added coating or paint on them. The bolt though, as stated, was black due to some black nitride coating. Comparing the bolt of my other blued .22LR CZ 455 rifle, it is lighter and feels less substantial due to a weight-saving hole drilled in the bolt handle and some metal removed at the root of the bolt handle. The two bolts are completely interchangeable of course but i prefer the heft of the original bolt.
