The CZ 455 Scout (02135) is a youth-friendly, training-focused bolt-action .22 LR rifle built for fundamentals, then ready to grow as skills improve. It features a 16.5-inch cold hammer forged barrel, an adjustable trigger, fully adjustable iron sights, and an included single-shot adapter for controlled learning. When you are ready to move beyond single-shot use, the rifle also accepts standard CZ 455 .22 LR magazines and includes an integral 11mm dovetail for mounting scopes.

I purchased this to teach my kids how to shoot. It fit all the criteria I was looking for. However, at 5lbs, it is a bit heavy for my daughter. She preferred to shoot a lighter polymer stock .22 I also have just due to the weight. Trigger feels great, action is smooth. A very quality piece that will outlast the rifle its replacing in my safe. My only real complaint is the safety is a bit stiff. My daughter has a tough time engaging the safety. I also purchased the 10round poly mag for when its my turn. Even having the shorter youth stock, its amazing to shoot. On target right out of the box.
