The CZ 457 American is a full-size bolt-action rimfire rifle built around CZ’s interchangeable-barrel platform. This right-hand model pairs a classic American-style Turkish walnut stock with a 24-inch black nitride barrel chambered in .17 HMR. Its adjustable trigger can be tuned for weight, creep, and over-travel, while the 60-degree bolt lift supports smooth cycling and easier scope clearance. A detachable 5-round polymer magazine provides a 5+1 capacity, and the receiver dovetail is ready for traditional scope rings.

This CZ 457 was my first file purchase from Bud's. I was pleased with the service. The rifle is beautiful and well built. I have tested many varieties of 17 HMR ammo in the gun. Several perform very well. I have selected one brand and bullet weight for my varmint hunting. It was hard for be to believe it myself but it shoots about 1/2" groups at 100 yards. It is a great rifle and Bud's service is a match. I recommend both.
