The is wood and blued...
The is wood and blued steel in my opinion the way rifles are supposed to be. A 5 shot detachable magazine and 1-14" twist is a definite plus, The fit and finish is very good. Not a winner in the CZ wood lottery but still a nice hunk of walnut. Hung a Leupold VXII 4x12 on the supplied CZ rings. My love of the 222 rem. is why I picked CZ. Not much to choose from any longer in this great caliber. Almost went the 22 hornet route but I am geared up for 222 reloading. Now I need to work up a 40-50 grain load and head to the range. I have to give it 5 stars so far hoping the range work will make my rating hold up. The shopping experience at Bud's is excellent as usual.
