The CZ 550 American is a bolt-action rifle built for reliable controlled feeding and a stable, scope-ready platform. Chambered in 6.5x55mm Swede and finished in blued steel, it features an adjustable trigger that can be used as either a single stage or a single set trigger. The rifle is supplied for optic use with 1-inch scope rings and is not fitted with iron sights from the factory.

This CZ is great! Once...
This CZ is great! Once the barrel was given a workout (~100 rounds shot), it's highly accurate. Plus the trigger feels very smooth. I would definitly reccomend this rifle to anyone. Can't wait to use it this deer season.

Can't say enough about...
Can't say enough about Bud's prices; they're terrific! My CZ550 came with things I didn't realize were there until I got it out of the box - raised cheekpiece on stock and crowned muzzle - really sweet. VERY impressed with the accuracy; it'll probably shoot better than I'm capable of. Trigger creeped more than a love-struck teenager around his girl's house, but it was user-adjustable - now it's perfect! Plus, single set trigger is really neat. The finish on the metal is beautiful, and the wood is above average in pattern - the whole outfit looks great. HIGHLY recommended!
