The CZ 550 Badlands is built for big-game hunting at extended ranges with the .338 Lapua Magnum. A Kevlar-reinforced synthetic stock is paired with a full-length aluminum bedding block to help keep the rifle stable and consistent when the distance gets demanding. Out front, a premium 25-inch medium-weight barrel is threaded to accept a muzzle brake that helps tame recoil while directing blast forward.

Great rifle! Nice...
Great rifle! Nice balance and accurate. I put a Vortex Viper on it and once zeroed I was able to put three Hornady 285gr Match bullets inside a 12" circle at over 800 yards. That from a solid Marine Corps sitting position, no rests. The recoil is not a problem, although you do get a fair amount of target obscuration from the brake. Of course, shoot at targets far enough away and you can still see the impact. Next time they have one of these in stock grab it! Glad I did for sure.
