The CZ 805 Bren S1 Carbine brings the Bren platform to a rifle configuration with a 16.2-inch barrel for faster setup and a more traditional long-gun profile. It features the factory folding, adjustable stock and a tan FDE finish. Chambered for .223 Remington / 5.56 NATO, it uses STANAG-compatible magazines and includes flip-up adjustable iron sights along with top and bottom Picatinny rails for mounting optics and lights. A two-port muzzle brake helps manage recoil and muzzle rise while staying on target.

I'll give it a 5, but...
I'll give it a 5, but there were some issues on the first 2 magazines I shot. Neither myself, or the range officer could figure out the problem, but once it was corrected, it shot fine. The third live round was jammed farther into the chamber than it should have gone, so the firing pin wasn't hitting the primer. Then trying to get it dislodged was a little bit of a problem. The second magazine had one failure to fire, but no jams. I'll blame it on the ammo, although I've used the same ammo for years with no other issues. But CZ is one of my favorites, whether it is a rifle or handgun. And the firearm itself is beautiful and easy to take down for cleaning. Another 200 rounds and I'm sure it will be my favorite rifle!
