Excellent reasonably...
Excellent reasonably priced true target rifle! The original one I ordered one didn't group at all to my standards. I sent it back to CZ-USA. After a thorough evaluation, CZ USA kindly sent me a replacement which worked very well. I took this progress a couple of steps further by pillar bedding the stock and carefully bedding the floor plate, action and the first inch of the bottom of the barrel. Now the rifle shoots at around .4ctc or less with light reloads at 100 yards. It is better than some "bench rest" rifles I've tried. It is the cheapest "old school" target rifle imaginable. Although the trigger isn't the single set version found in some CZ 527 models, I was able to bring it down to a crisp pull and light weight further enhancing accuracy. The wonderfully ergonomic and beautiful-stippled walnut stock reminds me of the stocks on German high-grade target rifles from decades ago. The wood even has great figure and the whole thing looks like a flawless heirloom. This rifle is amazingly comfortable, fun and satisfying to shoot in 6.5 Grendel. Thanks CZ USA and Buds!
