The Daniel Defense DDM4 M4A1 RIII is a 5.56 NATO AR-15-pattern rifle built for versatile use with a durable, mission-oriented configuration. It features a 14.5-inch chrome-lined, heavy-phosphate-coated Government-profile barrel, a mid-length gas system, and a 12.5-inch RIS III handguard with M-LOK attachment slots and a full-length Picatinny top rail. An ambidextrous lower receiver makes the safety selector easy to operate from either side, while the TriggerTech two-stage trigger provides a refined trigger pull. M-BUS Pro front and rear sights provide a dependable aiming system, and the Dead Air three-prong flash hider supports suppressor-capable setups.

Great shooting rifle...
Great shooting rifle Great quality gun with plenty of extras I don't care for the sling it came with but I have extra blue force gear slings. The trigger is amazing even though I believe it's the budget modle cast trigger pack. Would buy again!

Awesome rifle, but not...
Awesome rifle, but not the full ambi I was expecting, as normally offered in the RIII. The Buds description is spot on in that respect. Unfortunately, for me, I purchased this expecting the ambi mag release and bolt catch; therefore, I was disappointed to find only the safety selector switch was ambi. All considered though, this is still a solid rifle, at a good price (though even less expensive elsewhere) considering the add-ons. Note to all responding to questions: if you don't truly know an answer, please don't offer one.
