The Daniel Defense DDM4V11SLW is a Super Lightweight 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle designed to reduce carry weight without sacrificing the durability expected from the DDM4 platform. It features a cold hammer forged, chrome-lined chrome-moly vanadium steel barrel with a lightweight profile, a mid-length direct impingement gas system, and a pinned and welded extended flash suppressor that provides a sixteen-inch overall barrel length. The free-floating twelve-inch SLiM rail offers an uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny top rail along with KeyMod attachment points at the three, six, and nine o'clock positions. CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum receivers feature Cerakote finish, M4 feed ramps, indexing marks, and an enhanced flared magwell. The rifle includes a Daniel Defense stock and pistol grip, an M16-profile chrome-lined bolt carrier group, an H buffer, one 30-round Magpul PMAG, and a protective plastic case.
