Product Overview
The Daniel Defense DDM4V5S is a compact AR-pattern rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and compatible with .223 Remington ammunition. It features a 14.5-inch cold hammer forged government-profile barrel with a Daniel Defense extended flash suppressor that is pinned and welded to provide a legal 16-inch minimum barrel length. The mid-length direct-impingement gas system, low-profile gas block, chrome-lined M16-profile bolt carrier group, and H buffer support dependable operation. A flat-top upper receiver with Picatinny rail provides an optic-ready foundation, while the DDM4 Rail 12.0 handguard offers a stable platform for accessories. The rifle includes a six-position stock, Daniel Defense pistol grip, and one Magpul PMAG 30-round magazine. Factory standard models do not include iron sights or a pre-installed optic.
