The Daniel Defense M4 V7 Carbine is a 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle built around a 16-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel and a mid-length gas system. Its MFR 12.0 free-floating handguard provides a continuous top Picatinny rail plus configurable rail sections for mounting accessories without adding unnecessary bulk. The rifle includes a pinned low-profile gas block, Daniel Defense flash suppressor, H buffer, enhanced magazine well, rear receiver quick-detach sling socket, and a Magpul MOE adjustable buttstock. It ships without factory sights, allowing the shooter to select an optic or sighting system suited to the intended use.

Extremely Great Rifle!! Daniel Defense products are top of the line. I had an issue with one of the bolts to the floating rail. Called the company directly and they sent me a replacement free of charge. This rifle is light and versatile. A must have.

Took about two weeks...
Took about two weeks for the initial processing to go through, having never purchased a firearm online, I don't know the standard. However, after it was shipped from Bud's it took 5 days, pretty normal. Transaction was seamless. Went to my buddy at my FFL, looked the gun over, filled out paper work and was squared away. My FFL having an established rapport with Bud's also made me feel better. All in all, everything was good to go.
