The Diamondback Firearms DB15 Carbon is a lightweight, modern sporting rifle chambered for both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. Its direct-impingement operating system uses a carbine-length gas system and a 16-inch 4150 chrome-moly steel barrel. The rifle features a forged 7075-T6 aluminum receiver, A3 flattop configuration, 12-inch M-LOK handguard, MOE carbine stock, enhanced trigger guard, forward assist, and dust cover. A threaded muzzle with an A2 flash hider supports compatible muzzle accessories, while the flattop receiver provides a practical foundation for adding an optic.
