I absolutely love this...
I absolutely love this rifle. I've had it a few months now and have put about 500 rounds through it. Easy to clean and lightweight for walking through woods with. I didn't think I'd like the muddy girl camo finish, but I really do love it. Many of my fellow lady shooters like it quite a bit also. I am very happy with this rifle and with Buds.

I purchased this for...
I purchased this for my wife since after shooting mine she wanted her own. The fit and finish was great but, before taking it to the range I would strongly recommend lubricating as it comes in bone dry. The rifle comes in a plastic case with one well made metal magazine. I added a red dot sight and took it to the range. within 9 shots in 3 shot groups I had the rifle on target. My wife then set down and we tweaked the red dot for her. All of her shots, 90 rounds, were in the 9 ring at 50 yards shooting Federal's American ammo in 5.56. There was only one failure to feed but, it appears it was the bullets fault as the case appeared slightly curved and would not go into the chamber even though the bolt had captured the round cleanly out of the magazine. I cycled another 90 rounds with no further issues. I am very pleased with this platform from Diamondback. I was afraid however, that my budget for ammo was going to be cut in half since my wife fell in love with this rifle. It turns out she use her own money and ordered another 420 rounds. Yep she's hooked.
