The Diana R-22 Carbon is a lightweight bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 LR and built around a carbon fiber-wrapped hammer-forged barrel. Its 19.1-inch threaded barrel provides a durable, precision-oriented platform, while the adjustable one-stage trigger allows the shooter to tailor trigger weight. The ambidextrous all-weather stock offers a secure and comfortable hold in changing conditions. An integral Picatinny scope rail supports easy optic installation, and a second Picatinny rail accommodates a bipod. The rifle includes a 10-round magazine and is manufactured in Germany.

Buds handle the...
Buds handle the purchase and shipment in typical great fashion. After receiving the rifle I noticed tthe safety was a bit hard to operate. I took the rifle out to shoot a few rounds through it to see how it performed, and when I came back inside I couldn't engage the safety. I tried multiple times and played with it extensively but it just didn't want to engage. I contacted the company and spoke to a warranty rep who first wanted me to send the bolt only to him. After I played with the bolt and found out I could manipulate the safety and the bolt handle at the same time to get it to engage, he wanted me to send the whole rifle to him. It was still hard as heck to engage anyway. Long story short, they still have my rifle (in Washington State) and I have no idea how long I will be without the gun. The rifle is gorgeous and very lightweight due to the carbon fiber wrapped barrel. It shoots very well and the trigger is not bad, but still adjustable for weight if I want to change it. Extra mags are hard to find, and I bought the last one I could find online. I don't know if my problem is a fluke or if others have had problems too. I can't wait to get it back and start shooting it again. Note: The barrel is threaded but the threads are 1/2 x 20 TPI not 1/2 x 28 TPI, so you will need an adapter to use a suppressor or muzzle device. I'll give it 4 stars only because of the safety issue.
