The Doublestar Patrol Rifle is a practical AR-15-pattern rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO. Its 16-inch chrome-lined, chrome-moly lightweight barrel is paired with a 1:9 twist for dependable performance with a broad range of common 5.56 NATO loads. A DS416 Slimline Quad Rail provides a versatile mounting platform for accessories, while the flattop upper receiver is ready for a user-installed optic. The rifle includes a six-position DS-4 buttstock, Hogue rubber overmolded pistol grip, flip-up rear sight, and A2 Phantom flash hider.

Fit and finish are...
Fit and finish are excellent. I have not used this rifle often, probably less than 300 rounds fired. Recently I am experiencing a malfunction whereby the trigger performs as a binary trigger. Instead of the audible CLICK at the reset point there is a BANG and sometimes even a BANG BANG. I ran three mags through and had 100% malfunction described above. It stays in the safe now until it's squared away. I'll be calling Doublestar on Monday to see if they are willing to repair it. Fingers crossed.
