The DPMS DR15 M4 B5 is a 5.56 NATO semiautomatic rifle built around a forged 7075-T6 aluminum M4 receiver set. It features a 16-inch M4-profile chrome moly vanadium barrel with a phosphate finish, a 1-in-8-inch twist, a carbine-length gas system, and a threaded muzzle fitted with an A2-style flash hider. B5 furniture includes the Premium Grip and SOPMOD stock, while the M4 handguard uses heat shields for improved handling during extended use. Internal components include a Carpenter 158 steel bolt, full-auto-profile bolt carrier, and DPMS Panther Polished Trigger.
