Product Overview
The DPMS GII Compact Hunter is a lightweight semi-automatic rifle chambered in .338 Federal for hunters who want substantial big-game performance in a compact MSR-style platform. Its 18-inch lightweight stainless steel barrel uses a durable Teflon-coated finish and target crown, while the enhanced carbon fiber free-float tube helps preserve accuracy without adding unnecessary weight. A Hogue grip and B5 SOPMOD stock improve handling and shooting comfort. Forged upper and lower receivers, a reduced-mass bolt carrier, an improved bolt and barrel extension, a beveled magazine well, and a dual-ejector extractor complete the GII design. The flattop receiver is optic ready, and the rifle does not include factory sights.
