The DPMS Panther A3 Lite 16 Carbine is a lightweight AR-15 pattern rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and compatible with .223 Remington ammunition. It features a 16-inch 4140 chromoly steel lightweight barrel with six-groove button rifling and a 1:9-inch right-hand twist. The gas-operated semi-automatic action uses a multi-lug rotating bolt, while forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers provide a durable foundation. Its A3 flat-top upper receiver supports accessory mounting, and the six-position collapsible stock allows users to adjust the rifle for fit and transport. The rifle weighs 6.5 pounds unloaded and accepts standard AR-15 and M16 magazines.
