Product Overview
The DPMS Panther AP4 6.8 SPC Special Carbine is a semi-automatic rifle built around lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum receivers and a direct gas-operated rotating bolt system. Its 16-inch 4140 chrome-moly steel AP4 contour barrel uses six-groove button rifling with a 1:11 right-hand twist and is fitted with an A2 birdcage flash hider. The A3 flattop upper receiver includes a detachable carry handle with an adjustable rear sight, while the six-position telescoping synthetic stock allows the length of pull to be tailored to the shooter. The rifle accepts 25-round magazines and provides a practical carbine configuration for range use and general-purpose shooting.
