A: This rifle is chambered for 5.56 NATO and will handle the extra pressure for which it was designed Gabriel.

A: The pressures are similar between the 2 cartridges they are measured on different scales(same velocities equal same pressures). The depth the bullet is seated to is the main difference which can cause excessive pressures when 5.56 is fired in some .223 chambers. This rifle has the 5.56 chamber and will shoot both cartridges.

A: Absolutely 100% Brandon. They work just fine in my Recon. The Recon GII in 308 originally had issues with Magpul G3 308 mags.

A: The latest RFA3 Recon models I have seen have all shipped in the DPMS Cardboard box. DPMS equips the Recon with Magpul® MOE® stock and grip, and back-up sights.
