Just received this...
Just received this firearm and took it to the range. I cleaned it thoroughly. It is sent with a lot of oil (just like every other Russian firearm I have ever purchased). It performed extremely well with only one FTE which cleared easily. The sights were dead on. Also the rifle feels solid and seems ergonomically sound. My only qualm is the virtually useless owner's manual. The only way to figure out how to break the rifle down is an exploded pictogram; otherwise, I would call this a successful purchase worth the money. Now only if .22lr ammo gets back to a reasonable price.

JUST RECEIVED THIS GUN ON MONDAY 8/29 TOOK IT TO THE RANGE COULD NOT GET MORE THAN 2 ROUNDS OFF BEFORE JAMMING,TRIED PLATED AND NON-PLATED AMMO STILL JAMMING EVERY FEW SHOTS!! THE QUALITY OF THE ACTUAL FIREARM APPEARS TO BE SUPURB BUT THAT IS QUICKLY NEGATED BY ITS FAILURE TO FEED! ALSO IT ONLY COMES WITH 9 ROUND MAGS NOT 10 ROUND AS ADVERTISED. IT ALSO STATES IT HAS A ACCURIZED BARREL????? IT IS NOT EVEN FREE FLOATED,SO WHAT DOES ACCURIZED MEAN? BACK TO THE F.T.F ISSUE I FEEL THE MAGS ARE THE REASON FOR FAILURE ,FIRST THING NOTICED IS THAT THE SPRING FAILS TO KEEP THE BULLET NOSE UP PROPERLY. SECONDLY THE MAG ALSO HAS A CURVE TO IT LIKE A BANANNA CLIP,WHY??IT IS ONLY 9 ROUNDS! ALSO THE MAG QUALITY IS VERY CRUDE IN WORKMANSHIP AND FUNCTION. I AM SENDING THE GUN BACK TO EAA SO THEY CAN FIX IT, I WILL TRY TO UP DATE WHEN I GET IT BACK.SO UNTIL THEY HAVE A BETTER MAG DESIGN IN PLACE OR MAYBE A REDESIGNED FOLLOWER ,I WOULD STICK TO THE KING OF SEMI'S ,THE RUGER 10-22! ITS CHEAPER AND IT WILL CYCLE EVERY TIME!! I HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS ,AND POSSIBLY PREVENTS YOU FROM THE DISAPPONTMENT OF OWNING A SINGLE SHOT!
