The FN-15 Sporting is an AR-15 pattern semi-automatic rifle built for precision-focused shooting. It’s chambered in .223 Remington / 5.56 NATO and uses an 18-inch match-grade, cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel. The setup is completed with a SureFire ProComp 556 muzzle brake for recoil reduction, a Timney competition trigger for a crisp break and short reset, and Magpul MOE grip with a Magpul CTR buttstock. A 15-inch Samson Evolution handguard provides a stable platform for optics and accessories.

Accurate, excellent...
Accurate, excellent build quality from FN. Buyers should note that the match-grade, hammer-forged FN barrel that is on mine is stamped .223 WIN. I've reached out to FN customer support and they confirmed that the barrel is for .223 ONLY. Do not shoot 5.56 NATO through this barrel. BCG and everything else is .223/5.56 compatible, but not the barrel.
