Product Overview
The FN M249S is a civilian semi-automatic rifle based on the military M249 SAW and FN MINIMI platform. Its closed-bolt, gas-operated action supports both 5.56 NATO linked ammunition belts and compatible 30-round magazines. The 18.5-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel uses a 1:7 right-hand twist and features quick-change capability. A robust steel receiver, hydraulic recoil-buffered synthetic stock, folding steel bipod, folding carry handle, and integrated MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail complete the FDE/Tan configuration.
