Product Overview
Part of FN's Military Collector Series, the FN M249S Para is a semi-automatic civilian version of the M249 Para light machine gun. Its compact 16.1-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel and telescoping stock reflect the configuration developed for airborne, armored infantry, and close-quarters operations. The rifle features a formed steel receiver, folding carry handle, folding steel bipod, removable heat shield, non-reciprocating charging handle, and a flip-up feed tray cover and feed mechanism. A top-cover integrated MIL-STD-1913 rail provides a secure mounting point for optics, while the primary sights are graduated to 1,000 meters. Finished in Flat Dark Earth with a black synthetic stock, the M249S Para accepts both 30-round magazines and linked ammunition belts.
