The FN SCAR 16S is a semi-automatic rifle chambered for .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. Its gas-operated short-stroke piston system supports reliable operation, while the 16.25-inch free-floating, cold hammer-forged barrel features a hard-chromed bore and a 1:7 twist rate. The rifle combines fully ambidextrous controls with a side-folding polymer stock that adjusts for comb height and length of pull. Folding front and rear sights provide a ready-to-use sighting system, and the integrated MIL-STD 1913 rails support the addition of optics and accessories.
