The FN SCAR 16S is a semiautomatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington. Its gas-operated short-stroke piston system is designed for reliable cycling, while the free-floating, cold hammer-forged barrel features a hard-chromed bore for durability. Fully ambidextrous controls accommodate a wide range of users. The rifle includes a side-folding polymer stock with adjustable comb height and length of pull, plus MIL-STD 1913 rails for mounting compatible optics and accessories. This configuration uses a 10-round detachable box magazine for a 10+1 capacity.
