The FN SCAR 16S is a fast-handling semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO. Its short-stroke piston system supports reliable operation, while the updated non-reciprocating charging handles provide flexible manipulation from either side and in a wide range of shooting positions. The monolithic upper receiver incorporates a MIL-STD-1913 top rail for optics and accessories, and the side-folding telescoping stock offers adjustable length of pull and cheek-rest height for a customized fit.
