Description
Product Overview
The FN SCAR 16S NRCH is a fast-handling, piston-driven rifle chambered for 5.56 NATO and compatible with .223 Remington ammunition. Its dual non-reciprocating charging handles support comfortable operation from either side and help maintain clearance when shooting from supported or barrier-contact positions. The rugged monolithic upper receiver provides a continuous MIL-STD-1913 top rail for optics and accessories, while the adjustable telescoping side-folding stock offers customizable length of pull and cheek-rest height. Folding adjustable sights, an ambidextrous manual safety, and a cold hammer forged threaded barrel complete this versatile modern sporting rifle.
Key Features
- Short-stroke piston system provides reliable cycling with reduced fouling in the receiver.
- Dual non-reciprocating charging handles accommodate left- or right-side manipulation and varied shooting positions.
- Monolithic upper receiver with MIL-STD-1913 rail supports optics and rail-mounted accessories.
- Adjustable telescoping side-folding stock customizes length of pull and cheek-rest height.
- Cold hammer forged 16.25-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for compatible muzzle devices.
- Folding adjustable sights provide a usable aiming system while leaving the top rail available for an optic.
The FN SCAR 16S NRCH combines durable piston-driven operation, adaptable ergonomics, and flexible optic mounting in a proven 5.56 NATO rifle configuration.
