The FN SCAR-H is a gas-operated, short-stroke piston 7.62mm NATO/.308 Winchester semi-automatic rifle built for fast handling and reliable operation. It features an ambidextrous rotating manual safety and ambidextrous controls, a folding adjustable stock, and factory folding iron sights along with a full MIL-STD-1913 rail layout for optics and accessories.

Best gun I have ever...
Best gun I have ever fired. If you are debating between the SCAR 16 and 17, get this one. Shoots very smoothly and accurately. You can use this gun for anything if you just put the right optics on it. When I bought this, it was around $100 less than the 20 round version of the same gun. Not sure why. I bought it along with a 20 round mag for less than the one that comes with a 20 round mag. I advise you do that. This gun is very well made and I absolutely love shooting it.
