The Geissele Automatics Freedom Rifle GFR Maritime Recce is a purpose-built semi-automatic rifle chambered in 6mm ARC. Its 14.5-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel is paired with a Super mid-length gas system and a pin-and-welded HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 6 muzzle device. The GFR upper receiver incorporates enhanced steel cam races, while the Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group uses a purpose-built 6mm ARC bolt for improved durability and cycling performance. A 13.5-inch MK16 Super Modular Rail provides a stable mounting surface with M-LOK attachment points and a full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail. The rifle includes Geissele’s GFR-E two-stage trigger, ambidextrous Super Charging Handle, Super 42 buffer system with H2 buffer, BF buttstock, and reduced-angle A17 grip. Its 8+1 capacity and compact 32 5/8-inch collapsed length make it well suited to field, duty, and precision applications.
