The Great Lakes Firearms GLFA AR-15 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .223 Wylde, allowing it to safely shoot both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition. It features a 16-inch heavy barrel with a 1:8 twist, M4 feed ramps, and 1/2x28 muzzle threads. The rifle uses a 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receiver set, a carbine-length gas system, and a 15.25-inch 6061 aluminum handguard with a full Picatinny rail. Its Battleworn Black Cherry Cerakote finish provides a distinctive appearance, while the mil-spec trigger and polymer grip maintain a familiar AR-15 control layout. The rifle includes a muzzle brake and one 30-round magazine. Sights are not included, and the full-length top rail supports the installation of a compatible optic or backup sight system.
