A: Yes this gun will handle the buffalo bore rounds of ammo. This is a modern firearm and therefore will handle any loads that are currently on the market, no matter the manufacturer. The only time you have to be careful with heavy loads is in older firearms and this is a brand new gun, so again yes it will handle and shoot them just fine. Hope this helps.

A: the way I read it is that it would be NJ compliant as what I read it only restricts semi auto rifles not lever actions I would give a local FFL holder a call to be 100% sure
