Had a little issue...
Had a little issue with a over tightened rear sight set screw right out of the box but it was quickly resolved. Great folks at Henry. To me, there are three rifles that stand out from the rest in terms of beauty. The Kentucky long rifle, the Ruger No. 1 and this Henry Big Boy. I've got it shooting right on at 75 yards with a 300 grain jacketed flat nose bullets. Ready for hogs now! Thanks Henry for making this work-of-art ordnance right here in the USA and thank you Buds for carrying it!

This is my first Henry...
This is my first Henry rifle. Absolutely beautiful gun. Fit and finish is superb. Very easy to sight in with the semi buck horn sights. Smooth lever action and trigger. I would have gotten one years ago, but the loading tube was always a deterrent. Having put 50+ rounds through it this past weekend, I have grown to like it very much. In many ways, it's better than a side gate and makes for a much more sealed system, and allows easy cleaning. Only minor complaint I have is, no saddle ring option.
