Product Overview
The Henry Big Boy Steel Carbine H012R is a compact lever-action rifle chambered for both .44 Remington Mag and .44 Special. Its 16.5-inch round steel barrel and 34-inch overall length make it easy to handle, while the checkered straight-grip American walnut stock provides a secure, classic shooting platform. A brass bead front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight offer a familiar sight picture, and the drilled-and-tapped blue steel receiver is ready for an optional optic mount. The rifle feeds from a 7+1 tubular magazine and uses Henry’s transfer-bar safety system.

Henry makes a quality...
Henry makes a quality product. You will see the quality in its fit and finish the second you take it out of the box. Functions perfectly, a dead on tack driver. Easy to handle with the 16in barrel. Even with the 44mag the recoil is very manageable, I would put the recoil on par with a 20ga shotgun. I think most folks would be very happy with this gun. Recommended.
