The receiver is drilled and tapped for the Henry BB-RSM scope mount, making it optic-ready for hunters who prefer a mounted scope. A checkered American walnut stock, sturdy recoil pad, and smooth Henry lever action complete this capable field rifle. The rifle uses a half-cock safety position rather than a separate manual safety, and factory standard models do not include a threaded barrel, grip safety, or ambidextrous safety.

Henry's are by far my...
Henry's are by far my favorite lever action rifles. Smooth out of the box and fit and finish is perfect. I added a scope rail and scope and use my for target shooting and hunting. It's great for small kids or recoil shy people. Only thing I can saw bad about it is that it's a bit heavy. Mine cycles 38 special no problem. 158g Hornady xtp are very accurate out to 100+ yards.
