Delivery was fast to...
Delivery was fast to Buds where I picked it up. On Christmas day took my grandson to shoot his gift. At 14 with the aperture skinner sight he couldn't miss! We ended up picking up fired 12 gauge plastic casings and shooting them at about 25 or so yards. The Henry small game 22 was sighted Dead on out of the box. Have ordered online from Buds many times and never any problems. Fast delivery and pickup.

This is simply the sweetest, smoothest 22LR Lever Action rifle I have ever handled. This is my first Henry. All of the praises I had read about them now make perfect sense. At an indoor range at 25 yards, I get a consistent 1" to 1 1/4" grouping using Aguila Super Extra HP (assuming we reject the occasional operator-induced flinch) with the Skinner peep sights. Purchasing from Bud's was as smooth as the rifle's action. Straightforward with no issues at all. I am super happy & will come back.

Another great product...
Another great product from Henry. I've had my eye on the Small Game model for a while, mostly because of the factory-installed Skinner peep sights. And I'm glad I finally got one. The action is smooth, like all Henrys, and it's had zero malfunctions out of the box. I'm not a fan of the large loop but that's how they come, so I will leave it alone. I wasn't sure if the heavy, octagonal barrel would be nose heavy, but it isn't. I'm glad I got the rifle and not the carbine, since the balance is fine. The walnut stock is lovely. The closest thing I have to a complaint is that it shoots a bit high, as some others have reported. I did not ask Henry for a taller front sight. I usually shoot center of mass, but if I use a 6 o'clock hold, she's just about on target.
