There's a 1st for...
There's a 1st for everything. Just received my HENRY 25th Anniversary 44-40. Couldn't wait for it to come in. While unboxing this baby to admire and put in in my safe, I noticed a fine line in the engraved receiver. Looked real hard to see if maybe it was supposed to be there. Nope! That's a crack. Tapped on it with my finger along the line. Seems very thin and almost sounds like plastic. I would think this would be solid brass not thinly and cheaply made merchandise. Made in China or USA? Disappointed so far. $3400.00 should buy you a very nice, well made gun. For the record..I own at least 8 HENRY's. Love'em all however, now I'm questioning the workmanship and quality of these guns I've paid so much for.
