Received my Henry...
Received my Henry H011D2 Original Deluxe Engraved yesterday. I was a kid on Christmas day when opening the box. This rifle is a thing of beauty. The fit and finish is the best I've seen in a production firearm. The Bluing reminds me of the Royal Blue on the Colt Python's. The engraving is very nice with the appearance of hand engraving. I read that the engraving process at Henry is hand chased after the original cutting, if true it makes a big difference from standard laser engraving, I haven't shot the rifle yet but rounds chamber and eject properly. Action is very smooth when feeding the next round. I have two complaints however. The first is the trigger. I haven't put a scale on it yet but experience tells me is around 6-7 pounds and does not have a clean break. May be after some firing this will improve but I don't think it will improve it much. The second is the rifle was dirty. I know Henry test fires the rifle before it leaves the plant but you would think for this amount of money they could clean the receiver and action. All in all this is a very fine rifle and am very happy to own one.
