Its side-loading gate allows cartridges to be topped off without removing the magazine tube, while the removable inner tube provides a safe and straightforward method for unloading. Chambered in .45-70 Govt., this rifle features a 19.8-inch round blued carbon-steel barrel, a polished hardened-brass receiver, and satin-finished American walnut furniture with deep checkering for a secure hold. An ivory bead front sight and adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight provide a traditional sight picture, while the drilled-and-tapped receiver is ready for compatible scope mounting hardware.

This is my new...
This is my new favorite gun! Think of it as a Marlin, but with every aspect of it just being a pinch better. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that it's listed as having a 4 1 capacity. It has a 6 1 capacity with the HSM 430gr p bear loads I've been shooting through it. Overall I'd definitely recommend this gun and recommend buying it from Bud's. They haven't done me wrong yet!
